Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 18, 2026

Draft pending counsel review. This page describes our current data practices in good faith. For a signed, jurisdiction-specific privacy statement, email privacy@jobspipe.dev.

What we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the service: account email, hashed password (or OAuth identifier), billing details processed by our payment provider, and API usage logs tied to your API keys. We use Umami for privacy-preserving, cookieless web analytics and Crisp for support chat.

What we do not collect

We do not sell personal data. We do not run ad-targeting trackers. We do not require cookies to browse the marketing site.

Job-posting data

JobsPipe indexes publicly available job postings. Where a posting includes recruiter names or contact details, those are treated as part of the public record and surfaced as-is. If you are a recruiter who wants your name removed from our index, email privacy@jobspipe.dev.

How we use data

To operate, secure, and improve the service; to bill you; to respond when you contact us; and to comply with legal obligations.

Sub-processors

We use a small set of vendors to run the service (hosting, payments, email, support chat, analytics). A current list is available on request and is included in the Data Processing Addendum.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@jobspipe.dev. We respond within 30 days.

Retention

Account data is retained for the life of the account plus 90 days. API logs are retained for 30 days for debugging and abuse prevention.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to a small set of engineers and audited. Report security issues to security@jobspipe.dev.

Children

JobsPipe is a B2B developer tool and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

Material updates are announced via email or in-product at least 14 days before they take effect.
